Platform Access Requirements
Our webinar platform works across standard devices and internet connections. You need basic equipment that most people already have—a computer or tablet with internet access, a browser, and optionally a microphone if you plan to ask questions during live sessions. The system adapts to different connection speeds while maintaining audio clarity and visual quality where bandwidth allows.
System Foundation
The platform runs through web browsers without requiring specialized software installations. This approach means you access everything through familiar tools like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Updates happen automatically on our end, so you always connect to the current version without managing downloads or compatibility issues.
Desktop and laptop computers work well for extended learning sessions. Tablets function effectively for viewing content and participating in discussions. Mobile phones handle basic viewing but provide a compressed experience better suited for reviewing recorded sessions rather than attending live broadcasts. Screen size matters for reading presentation slides and following along with visual demonstrations.
Operating systems from the past five years generally support the necessary browser features. Windows 10 and 11, macOS from 2018 onward, recent Linux distributions, iOS 13 or newer, and Android 8 or later all provide adequate foundations. Older systems may work but could encounter limitations with certain interactive features.
Core Technical Specifications
Browser Versions
Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, Edge 90+ support all platform features. Automatic updates keep browsers current. Older versions may display content but lack full interaction capabilities.
Connection Speed
Minimum 3 Mbps for standard definition, 5 Mbps recommended for high definition video. Audio streams work reliably at 1 Mbps. System adjusts quality based on detected bandwidth.
Processing Power
Dual-core processor from 2015 or newer handles video decoding. 4GB RAM sufficient for single session. Modern integrated graphics adequate—dedicated GPU not required.
Audio Equipment
Built-in speakers or headphones work for listening. External microphone improves question quality during Q&A. USB headsets provide reliable audio input and output combination.
Camera Optional
Webcam not required for standard participation. Some interactive workshops may request video for small group discussions. 720p resolution sufficient when camera used.
Document Viewing
PDF reader for downloadable materials. Modern browsers handle most formats natively. Microsoft Office or equivalent needed only for editable workshop files.
Device Compatibility Overview
Desktop PC
Full experience with all features enabled. Multiple monitors supported. Ideal for note-taking alongside video.
Laptop
Complete functionality with portable flexibility. Battery lasts typical 2-hour session. External display optional.
Tablet
Good for viewing and chat participation. Touch interface for polls. Screen size matters for slide detail.
Phone
Audio streaming reliable. Visual content compressed. Better for catch-up viewing than live attendance.
Network and Bandwidth Considerations
Wired vs Wireless
Ethernet cables provide stable connections without interference. WiFi works reliably when signal strength shows three bars or better. Position yourself within 30 feet of router for consistent streaming.
Download Requirements
Video streams consume 2-4 Mbps depending on quality settings. Audio-only mode uses under 500 Kbps as fallback option. Presentation slides load separately at negligible bandwidth.
Upload Capacity
Text chat requires minimal upload speed. Voice questions need 500 Kbps upstream. Video sharing during interactive segments uses 1-2 Mbps upload when camera enabled.
Congestion Management
Close unnecessary browser tabs and applications. Pause downloads and streaming services. Other household internet usage impacts available bandwidth during sessions.
